ABILITIESIN SHORT: Squishy glass cannon mage. All her attacks are shown off in this video. Rita is a totally normal human with no supernatural abilities...if she's not wearing her bodhi blastia (the gold choker around her neck). With the blastia, she can manipulate a magical force called aer by channeling it through an item with high aer conductance (i.e. a weapon) for both physical attacks and casting spells. Her physical attacks aren't strong, though, since it's magic where she shines: she has a wide variety of spells utilizing every element besides Light (even if Fireball is by far her preferred spell), and she's packing serious magic strength. She has very high magic reserves and magic defense, and basically all her other stats—HP, physical strength, physical defense, speed/evasion—kind of suck! Continuing this theme, her weapon choices are impractical for physical combat. For her primary weapon, she equips scarves, belts, scrolls, whips, chains, or yo-yos...etc. Her sub-weapons are magic tomes; she always carries one around in a book holster. Her weapons can grant her additional abilities besides enhancing her magic, though; for example, one of her tomes allows her to levitate.
